Alternative spelling of
Brollachan. Brollochan is from a Gaelic word and means 'shapeless thing' or 'beast'. Most prominent in Highland folklore but linked to other regions too, the Brollochan was a malevolent spirit (said by some to know only two words) which took the form of its location whilst retaining its eyes and mouth. Thus, the creature that appeared in Series 7 of
Knightmare is indebted to legend.
