Entry of the Day - Who Wants to be a Millionaire
1. Who Wants to be a Millionaire
Inspired by the success of Blind Date, Billy Hicks invented a Knightmare themed Who Wants to be a Millionaire chat game on the 11th December 2004, based on the popular big money quiz show of the same name.

Chloe was the first contestant when the game premiered that night- coincidentally, this was also Chloe's first night in #knightmare chat. She got up to £2000 (using the Ask the Audience lifeline in the process) before losing the £4000 question, taking home £1000.

Billy was eager to have another playing before 2004 was out, so one happened on the 26th December- the last chat night of 2004. As Thanatos seemed to be the only one in the room who wanted to play, Fastest Finger First was dropped and the game started there and then. He lost the £500 question, thinking the Series 8 life force was a cake instead of a pie- an easy mistake to make.

The third playing was held in the early hours of the 3rd January 2005. This was the latest playing so far, starting at 01.40am (just after the 25th Blind Date playing) and continuing for another 1 and a half hours. Mashibinbin (Robin John Barlow) was the player this time...and amazed everyone left in the room, including Billy himself, by winning the million! In the post game interview he attributed this to "a combination of luck, guile, more luck and a good use of lifelines...and some more luck!". A great way to start the year.

If you've ever watched a TV episode of Millionaire, then you should know the rules by now. Everything from the TV show is included except the expensive set, the thundering music...oh, and actual money. Sorry.

Billy currently writes all the questions, though this could change in the future. Like Blind Date, the game still goes on...
