A young sorceress, rescued after surviving a shipwreck in
The Quest For The Dragon’s Egg. Highly reminiscent of
Sidriss (who made her
Knightmare debut around the same time), Vestella is enthusiastic but accident-prone with magic; it's
revealed that the ship sank as a result of her botched attempt to counteract a leak in the hull. Despite her ditzy personality and inability to remember things, the apprentice mage can provide useful information either about
dragons' eggs or the inhabitants of different islands. Asking her for more immediate help with your quest is unwise, as she mistakenly transports the player and herself back to Knightmare Castle, where the only option is to start again from the beginning.
