Dave Morris has a strange habit of misspelling Knightmare characters' names in one gamebook but not in the others. See the entries on Hordris, Lilith and Aesandra for examples. So it is that Mildread is referred to as Mildred in the 'Can You Beat The Challenge?' gamebook. She uses her voice-changing abilities to impersonate Treguard, attempting to get the player to slay a servant-girl. In subsequent gamebooks, i.e. those of The Labyrinths Of Fear and The Sorcerer's Isle, Mildread's name is spelt as it was in the Series 2 credits.
