A character who appears in the Knightmare fan productions RPG Season 6 and RPG Season 7. Drassil is an entrepreneur of dubious morals whose affiliation was initially regarded as Powers That Be, but whose behaviour and motivations come to mark him out as Neutral. One of his closest associates in the Dungeon was the apothecary Ingard, with whom Drassil had an intermittent trading rivalry. Drassil's customary greeting was "Hullo, wayfarer".

Drassil, played by David, took his name from David's Knightmare community username.

Drassil also appears in the fanfics Knightmare: Resurrection, Level 5 and a series of sketches that mix Knightmare, Knightmare RPG and Brookside.

A member of the Knightmare fan community, real name David, who is about to switch out of the third person.

I created the username Drassil by reversing Lissard. The resemblance to Yggdrasil, Norse mythology's World Tree as mentioned in some of the Knightmare books, is coincidental. Some Knightmare fans have speculated that Drassil was the inspiration for the 'Lissard backwards' combination used in Knightmare VR's Slice Me Dice Me puzzle but this has never been confirmed.

Unless you count my brief visit to Knightmare Chat around 2000 (as tres_garde), my activities within the Knightmare community started with caption competition entries on IKM in 2003.
