Entry of the Day - ZZAP
1. ZZAP
It's been claimed that the American band ZZ Top chose their name to guarantee a place at the end of any alphabetical list of musical acts. Whoever concocted the spell ZZAP must have foreseen the Lexicon and harboured similar ambitions. Sorry, Zlissgath.

ZZAP was a spell featured in Lords of the Game, the Knightmare-based pilot made in 1992 for sale to the USA. It was acquired from a spell scroll, where it was written as ZZAP!, by dungeoneer Chad and his team. ZZAP was later used to defeat Veerash by causing a bolt of energy to strike him. During the casting of ZZAP, the zeds were pronounced - like the ones in ZZ Top - "Zee Zee".
