Team 5 of Series 6 acquired this spell from a spell scroll on Level 2. Upon encountering a hostile Peggatty later in the level, the team began to cast the spell, but only got as far as the first letter before Pickle interrupted and recommended a different course of action. The team later discarded BACKFIRE on the advice of Greystagg, who claimed it would destroy them otherwise.
