'What's a stumblebum? ;)' Tom41 once asked on the Knightmare.com Discussion Forum. The reason for his question is that dungeoneer Helen (Team 5 of Series 1) is described as such by the Giant: "Fe, fi, fo, fum, I smell the blood of a stumblebum." While stumblebum can refer to a second-rate prizefighter, it can also refer to someone who is awkward, idiotic or blundering. The Giant was probably passing comment on Helen haplessly entering his chamber.
