A spell that would have saved Team 9 of Series 2.


Having used the spell FREE to rescue Gretel from Ariadne's webbing, she advised them to "use the MEDAL spell". This was a reference to glowing talisman fragments that dungeoneer Jamie had tried to collect in the previous chamber, until the Automatum's approach forced him to break off and flee. Had he gathered them all, the team would presumably have been able to spellcast MEDAL so as to ward off Ariadne (exactly how is open to speculation). Failure to do so meant the end of quest.

It is generally agreed among Knightmare fans that the spell was MEDAL, rather than MEDDLE.
