A spell given to Ben's team (Team 5 of Series 6) by Hordriss. They cast the spell when they encountered Lord Fear guarding the crown, their quest object. SPLASH caused Lord Fear to rise out of the cavern (i.e. off the top of the screen), and splash into his Pool of Veracity, where he appeared to be trapped. This left Ben free to redeem the crown and return with it to the antechamber.
