The first of several potions used by Team 7 of Series 7 in their quest. Dungeoneer Barry imbibed the Speedwell while being accosted by Sylvester Hands and a pair of goblins. The hostile trio appeared to slow down, though the actual effect of the potion is more likely to have been Barry speeding up, since he was the one who drank it. (Star Trek fans may like to compare the 'hyperacceleration' effect of the Scalosian water in the episode Wink Of An Eye.) Either way, Barry was able to leave the chamber safely.
Speedwell is a real plant. As soon as it is gathered, its blossoms fly off, hence its name.
