What the Series 8 life force was generally considered to be for several years. Some members were adamant it was a pie, or quiche, but these radical new theories weren't truly exposed until this forum thread hit the Internet in November 2002. Credit goes to Tim Child himself, then, for confirming it was a pie in February 2004.

Of course, this didn't stop the merry bunch in #knightmare chat! If you were to ask any member what their favourite delicacy was, they would almost certainly reply with this scrumptious treat. Originating from one Alex Smith many years ago, the phrase 'I like cake' has set itself into the hearts and minds of members everywhere. Indeed, the strong desire for this pudding of perfection has even made its way into resident robot Jobe's vocabulary- type '!ilikecake' and Jobe will reveal that it also likes cake, especially (insert random variety of cake here).
