A male Venian navigator aboard a Vaarkan spaceship. A certain wrong turn in the Can You Beat The Challenge? gamebook will lead the player to Zlissgath, who hisses at them in slightly disjointed English for 'wearing silly helmet' and being where they shouldn't. The adventure ends there. Whether this setting is a glimpse at a world from another of Dave Morris' books, or simply a one-off flight of fancy by the authors, is unclear. None of the later gamebooks had anything quite so bizarre.
