A ruined 13th century castle near the village of Pennard on the Gower Peninsula, Swansea. The site is free to access.
Smirkenorff flew past Pennard Castle during the end credits of Series 5 episode 4.
He then continued over the valley of Pennard Pill, a freshwater stream that meanders through a wide salt marsh towards the sea.
The castle overlooks Three Cliffs Bay, named after the distinctive limestone crags that jut out into the sea. Smirkenorff flew between these cliffs at the end of the credits.
