Entry of the Day - Knightmare Trivia
1. Knightmare Trivia
Knightmare Trivia is a game played in the Knightmare chat room every Sunday night from around 9pm. It lasts around half an hour. The whole operation is run, controlled, scored and generally screwed up by Jobe, Neil's chatbot.

The rules are simple: Jobe asks a question, you type in the answer and if you are the first to get the question right as seen by Jobe, you get one point. Repeat for the rest of the round. Hints are provided along the way.

What makes Trivia unique from other chatroom games is that scoring is ongoing and not reset weekly. In light of the fact that the operation is run entirely from the Jobe chatbot over a broadband connection means there is no discrimination towards users or slowdown in results as seen in other games that use other chatters to drive them.

At the last count (Jan 27th 2006) Trivia had an ongoing question bank of over 345 questions, at least 10% of which are not related in any way to Knightmare.

In January 2006 numbered answers were essentially changed to cut down on floods in the chat logs.
