Ingard was born into a wealthy family in the town of Temphor and his family owned a lot of the surrounding land. When he was growing up Ingard was taught by sevrel of the best tutors in the land, however they only taught him the basics. Reaching his early 20's Ingard was a very naive young man. He was very pleasant and polite, but was easily tricked. This was due to being taught nothing about how the world worked.
One day his town was attacked by ogres and Ingard fled into the forests and has no idea if any one else escaped. After days of wandering around in a daze Ingard collapsed. When he awoke he found himself in a stone chamber with an open fire. A man was sitting close by smiling at him.
The man introduced himself as Treguard and told Ingard, that he had been found by a young forest elf named Kully. She had treated Ingard's wounds and brought him to Treguard's castle.
Treguard offerd Ingard a job of sorts in the dungeons below the castle. He would patrol the levels giving advice and aid to young people who quested there.
Having no other options available Ingard quickly accepted.
He discoverd he was to be an Apothecary, a seller of potions and goods. The problem was Ingard has no idea how to make them, so his wares sometimes have interesting results.
Ingard now inhabits level one, as he has no desire to meet up with the creatures who lurk lower down.
His life is pretty simple, however the rival trader Drassil likes to make his life difficult by setting up his stall opposite and insulting Ingard as he tries to work.. |
